Call for Expressions of Interest: NLMA/WorkplaceNL Liaison Committee

The NLMA is seeking three members – two family physicians and one specialist – interested in serving on the NLMA/WorkplaceNL Liaison Committee.

Role
The Committee is primarily responsible for negotiating the Memorandum of Agreement between NLMA and WorkplaceNL; addressing areas of mutual interest including the physician’s involvement in early and safe return to work; consultation and input into the Commission’s policies relevant to clinical practice; and forms development and reporting requirements. The current MOA with WorkplaceNL expires on September 30, 2022.

Term
The Committee meets bi-annually or more frequently as necessary. Committee members shall serve a three-year term.
