I am excited to announce the opening of both my outpatient addictions practice and Vida Nova Recovery to provincial referrals!

No referral forms required. Just fax your consult request and any information on your patient that you feel would be helpful to their addictions care.

Services Offered

Province wide outpatient and inpatient addictions treatment.
Medically supported detox with ability to take patients immediately upon bed availability.
Inpatient treatment (6-week program base with option to extend if required to support recovery).
On site sober living facilities.
Long-term recovery follow-up and substance use disorder management with both physician and counselling services.

Specialized Treatments:

Opioid Agonist Therapy (methadone, buprenorphine/naloxone, Sublocade).
SUD anti-craving pharmacotherapy.
Comprehensive interdisciplinary long-term treatment of substance use disorders.

Funding Options For Inpatient Addictions Treatment Beds:

1. Provincial Bed Coverage:

-All provincially funded beds are currently full, but we have a running waitlist to which we can add your patient. List is currently at a 6 month wait. Additionally, the provincial government has made commitments to expand this coverage steadily to increase access, bed availability, and decrease wait times at Vida Nova.

2. Self Funded Beds (open beds available immediately if your patient has access to these various coverage models).
