Practice Advisory: Neuropathic Foot Clinic
The division of Orthopaedic Surgery would like to bring your attention to the opening of the Neuropathic Foot Clinic. Starting on October 24th, the clinic will run every Friday out of the Health Science Centre. The multidisciplinary clinic will be staffed by foot and ankle orthopaedics, internal medicine, wound care and orthopaedic technologists.
The referral process uses the same Central Intake pathway currently available for all Orthopaedic patients through the emergency room and through primary care.
The clinic is designed to manage neuropathic foot complications, foot deformity complicated by neuropathy and generalized diabetic foot problems.
