Pediatric Surgery Practice Closure – St. John’s
Dr. David Price would like to announce that he is closing the Janeway Hospital part of his pediatric surgery practice on September 1, 2025. He will stop taking new elective out-patient referrals at the Janeway after August 8, 2025. The private office on Logy Bay Rd. will close on August 29, 2025, and he will stop taking new constipation referrals there on June 30, 2025.Â
Dr. Price will continue doing the pediatric surgery travelling clinics in Labrador City, Goose Bay, Corner Brook, Grand Falls and Marystown for the next two years. These clinics will continue to alleviate many of the travel needs and costs of these patients. Patients seen in these clinics that subsequently need procedures at the Janeway will get them done by a colleague. This has been arranged. The clinic referrals and appointments will continue to be dealt with and arranged as they are now until August 29. After that, the administrative support currently being produced by Dr. Price’s office will be moving to the Janeway. The details will be publicized prior to the change.
