The Provincial Cancer Care program is committed to providing high quality cancer screening programs to the people of NL.

Based on recent research and our understanding that High Risk Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) causes cervical cancer, the Cancer Care Program has been asked to develop an operational plan and business case that will focus on moving towards Primary HPV screening, incorporating HPV testing as the initial screening test for cervical cancer.
