Drs. Catherine Donovan, Janice Fitzgerald & Proton Rahman Receive Order of Newfoundland and Labrador

Three physicians are among the eight newest recipients of the province’s highest honour. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, Dr. Catherine Donovan, and Dr. Proton Rahman were awarded the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador this week for their contributions to health care.

The honour is bestowed upon a select group for their “demonstrated excellence and achievement in any field of endeavour benefiting in an outstanding manner Newfoundland and Labrador and its residents.”
