Final recommendations from the 2011 Seniors Summit
In September 2011, the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association released a report containing 10 recommendations for improving seniors’ care. The report presents a plan for improving the way seniors navigate through the acute hospital system from the time they are triaged in the ER to the time they are discharged into the community or a more appropriate bed. Further details are contained in the Final Recommendations - 2011 Seniors Summit (PDF).
