  • Summarize treatment strategies for patients with retinal detachment
  • Discuss the differential diagnosis of red eye.
  • Summarize treatment of red eye
  • Identify when to refer patients with red eye
  • Describe the epidemiology and symptoms of Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD) including flashes and floaters
  • Identify when to refer patients with PVD
  • Identify risk factors for retinal detachment when a patient has posterior vitreous detachment
